Load Details
The load details section captures temperature, weight, and operational specifics for the physical shipment.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Suggested Rate / Max Rate | The recommended freight rate and the ceiling rate for this lane/load. Used as a guide during carrier negotiation. |
| Gross Weight | Total weight of the load in pounds. Auto-calculated from product quantities or manually entered. |
| Miles | Distance from origin to destination, pulled from the Google Maps integration on the order. |
| Pallets In/Out | Number of pallets being loaded and unloaded. “None” means pallets are not being tracked for this load; otherwise enter counts for reconciliation. |
| Temp Recorder | Indicates whether a temperature recorder device is required for the shipment. The Req. checkbox flags this as mandatory. |
| Unloading Fee | The fee structure for unloading at the destination. Selected from a dropdown of predefined fee types; dollar amount entered separately. |
| Trailer Temp | The required trailer temperature setting (°F) for reefer loads. |
| Seal #1 / Seal #2 | Trailer seal numbers applied at the origin. The Req. checkboxes indicate whether seals are required for this load. |
| Product Of | Country and state of origin for the product. Required for phytosanitary and regulatory compliance on certain shipments. |
| LTL/TL | Indicates whether this is a Less Than Truckload (LTL) or full Truckload (TL) shipment. Affects freight pricing and carrier eligibility. |
| Custom Field 1 / 2 / 3 | Configurable free-text fields for customer-specific data, internal reference numbers, or specialized tracking (e.g., broker rep name, special instructions). |
